Solution to Strategic Enablement – University of Leicester and Kingston University’s Timetabling and Scheduling Journey

Joanne joined TechnologyOne in July 2023 after 24 years in Higher Education, primarily in exams and assessment. Joanne has led the successful implementation of TechnologyOne’s exam timetable solution and a digital assessment platform and is now responsible for the Timetabling and Scheduling roadmap. She is passionate about TechnologyOne's customers and the benefits great systems bring to their institutions.

Mark Bonetzky is an Academic Registrar for Kingston University whose remit covers Timetabling, Exams, Student Records, Graduation & Awards and Student Loans. Mark has over 15 years’ experience in timetabling and scheduling with a particular focus on the effects of commuting and the student experience. He is also passionate about the ‘end user’ design and how timetables are presented and used by students and staff. During his 10 years at Kingston University, he has helped lead and develop timetabling KPI dashboards, improved learning environments for students, systems integrations and automation as well as enhanced reporting and analytics.

Matt is a Higher Education professional with over 20 years of experience. He began his career at DMU, later joining the University of Nottingham as Head of Timetabling Services. Ten years ago, he expanded his remit at the University of Leicester to include assessments as Student Registry Services Manager – Timetabling and Examinations.
