UCISA is pleased to announce that it is continuing to support its Bursary-funded PlusOne scheme PACED25:. Innovate, Integrate and Inspire
With the growing challenge of talent management coinciding with a tightening of budgets in many institutions, UCISA is continuing to support its members by enabling delegates attending the full PACED25 Conference programme to bring along an institutional colleague to PACED25.
The UCISA PlusOne Bursary Scheme will enable UCISA members who have booked to attend the conference by the early bird deadline to refer an institutional colleague by completing this PlusOne nomination form.
Delegates can nominate a colleague from their institution for a PlusOne Bursary funded place regardless of whether they have attended previous UCISA conferences.
Previous recipients of the PlusOne scheme have said:
"One of the most valuable parts of attending the CISG-PCMG24 was to give me the opportunity to step away from firefighting and the hands-on operational focus of my day-job and give me space to think more strategically as to how we can deliver value to our stakeholders. I found that attending this conference has given me an improved understanding of what is happening in the sector in terms of technology, trends, issues and challenges facing universities."
and
“The conference gave me pause for thought about many things in relation to how we operate and the changes we make. I believe that the institutions that will thrive over the challenging years ahead will be those that are both bold and prudent in the way that they invest. Working closely with our students will help to inform how technology can deliver the greatest benefit to student education and experience. As the pace of change accelerates, it is vital that colleagues continue to come together as they do at UCISA conferences, to share knowledge and experiences that inspire and encourage their fellow professionals.” .
A limited number of places are available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending PACED25, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so. As part of UCISA’s commitment to inclusion, we welcome referrals from colleagues from under-represented backgrounds. Preference will be given to those who have not attended a UCISA conference before, but delegates can nominate anyone from their institution.
Before referring a colleague, please ensure that you discuss referral with them first and make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the conference with their institutional colleagues’ post-event, as well as disseminate their experience in a format of their choice that may be published on the UCISA website and/or social media channels.
Referees must have booked their place for the full PACED25 Conference and submitted their nomination by 31st October 2025, and in the PlusOne nomination form, explain the reasons why their nominated colleague deserves a bursary-funded place at PACED25.
Successful nominees will be contacted by the UCISA Events team regarding booking their full place at PACED25.
