About the Event

The UCISA Web Services Community is hosting their in-person Community Day on Thursday 9th July 2026 at Leeds Trinity University City Campus. This event brings together professionals involved in the development, delivery, and management of Web Services from across the sector.

The theme for the day is Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions and it will feature practical, honest stories and case studies from across the sector - successes, challenges, and lessons learned.

Building on our webinar series, our Community Day will explore topics such as:

  • Resourcing, capacity and organisational pressures
  • Technology, tools and AI
  • Student experience and user expectations
  • Content has always been King
  • Cross-team collaboration and governance
  • Horizon scanning and responding to external change

The day will feature presentations, lightning talks, a panel session, and Lean Coffee sessions (breakout discussions with topics chosen by attendees on the day).

This is the Web Service Community’s inaugural in-person event, and we would love you to join us in making this a success.
