UCISA Connect goes live!
Our new portal will bring more opportunities for you, our members, to enhance engagement opportunities to further connect, share and transform IT and digital practice across the sector.
The portal will be rolled out in phases, but we see the benefits of the new portal as
- Easier booking of events and other UCISA activities
- Self-service facilities to manage all aspects of your membership
- Recognition of engagement and contributions to the UCISA community
How do you Get Started with using the new Portal?
Clicking on the Login to Portal link will take you to the portal. If you’ve not logged in before, you will be prompted to register. You will be taken to the new portal front end.
Get Started with UCISA Connect Guide will outline the key parts of the portal.
FAQs
Can I use my old UCISA login details with the new Portal?
You will be prompted to register for an account, when you login to the portal for the first time. Please use your institutional/organisational address – this will tie in your old UCISA account with your new login details. The new portal uses MFA as part of the login process.
What if I need to change my contact details?
You can change your contact details via the My details tile. If you’re changing institutions and your email address will need to change, please contact admin@ucisa.ac.uk.
Can I still book events via the UCISA website?
You will still be able to view all our events via the UCISA website – the booking link will take you to the relevant event on our new portal, where once logged in, you’ll be able to book yourself on the event.
I’m part of a UCISA Community, what does this mean for me?
We are currently still utilising Teams and Jiscmail for members to engage with UCISA communities. You can request to join communities through this form.
Where can I find recordings of webinars and conferences?
We have a new resources area within the new portal where webinars and conference recording, toolkits and other UCISA resources will be stored. The new resources area will have better search functionality to help you find relevant resources. We will also be migrating resources produced in the last 2 years over to the new resources area so you should find them there. If you are interested in a resource that was produced before 2023, please contact admin@ucisa.ac.uk.
